6 week Mindfulness Course

Mondays 7.15pm to 8.30pm

The Vine Cafe, Bolton Road, Salford

Starts 6th April

Learn how the ancient practice of Mindfulness can easily be adapted to help us find calm and wellbeing in busy modern life. Mindfulness is a secular (non-religious) practice of being aware of our thoughts, feelings and sensations and is proven to be of great benefit to our mental health.

Mindfulness is for everyone - regardless of age, gender, religion or background. You don't need any equipment, you can practice anywhere, any time in any way that suits you. To learn more click here.

 

Each session will include:

Cup of tea/coffee

Teaching on modern mindfulness

Guided meditation

Experiential practice - mindfulness in action

Group learning

6 week Mindfulness Course

The Venue

We'll be meeting at The Vine Cafe on Bolton Road in Salford. This is a welcoming and comfortable space.

There's a bus stop right outside and it's less than 30 mins from central Manchester. 

 

Course dates

This is a 6 week course starting Monday 6th April and finishing 18th May - please note there is no session on 4th May.

6th April, 13th April, 20th April, 27th April, 11th May, 18th May

 

The course is designed for each session to follow on from the other and for us to build our practice as we go so it's best you attend all of them if you can.

 

Cost & how to book

The course is £60

To book your place I require a non refundable £20 deposit.

Please email me saying you'd like to book on the course with your name and contact information and I will reply to organise payment.

The remaining £40 will be payable in the week before the first session.

Why I created this course

It's important to me to be a part of the community I live in, which is why I'm using a community focused venue and opening bookings up to locals of The Height first, then the rest of Salford/Manchester second.

I know that modern life is stressful and full of distractions, and I know I'd be lost without my Mindfulness practice! So this course is my way of sharing these valuable tools in a friendly, practical and engaging way.

Taster days

If you'd like to learn more before you book on, I'm running 2 taster sessions where you can meet me, learn more about Mindfulness and ask any questions you might have.
