FOREST BATHING
"If you go off into a forest and get very quiet, you'll come to understand you're connected with everything"- Alan Watts
Nature & wellbeing
Biophilia is human's innate tendency to seek connections with nature.
We are drawn to it when we need nourishing, restoring, healing. Time in nature fills us with calm, wonder and a sense of connection. In the midst of stressful modern life we need it more than ever, which is why I offer nature connection in my work.

Shinrin Yoku is the Japanese term for forest bathing. A 'forest bath' is the simple yet deeply healing practice of immersing oneself in nature. It is a mindful activity; using the senses to connect fully to the natural environment.
The science behind how and why time in nature is so beneficial to both our physical and mental health is fascinating and well researched.
I am a trained Shinrin Yoku practitioner and Forest Therapy Guide, I hold an International Forest Therapy Guide Diploma from Nature & Therapy UK.
