Finding & Living Your Values

Do you know what's important to you? And does your behaviour and your decisions match up with that?

In this workshop we'll establish why values are so important and how knowing them can have a significant impact on our mental health and wellbeing.

We'll do a guided activity to help you identify your values, settling on your core values. We'll then explore these in more depth; where did these come from, why are they important to you? You might be surprised by some of the answers!

Next we get a bit more practical - looking at how to actually live in line with these values. What are you already doing? Or not doing? What might need to change? What barriers are in the way and what happens when values conflict with each other?

This workshop will help you:

  • Identify your values (including what's NOT important to you!)

  • Gain self awareness through exploring those values

  • Think practically about acting on these values in your day to day life

As always there will be the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance from myself and the group.

Bring your journal and some coloured pens!

You'll leave the session with plenty of notes (or my specially designed spreadsheet for those who prefer not to write things out) to reflect on and return to, as well as journal prompts to help you stay on track after the session.
